Pip Pip!
A downloadable game
🏆 Second prize at the Bristol Global Game Jam 2022 🥈
You come home after a long trip away to find your house riddled with an array of red and blue burglars ransacking your house for swag. Thankfully you have your trusty peashooter at the ready. Take the cheeky good for nothings out! Also you have to shoot red robbers whilst in red mode and blue robbers in blue more, because: reasons!
Game was developed using the Aimtrak Pro lightgun but it is also relatively fun with a mouse. When using a lightgun try putting your keyboard on the ground and tapping space to swap colour mode. On mouse use right click.
Known Bugs (hey, it's a gamejam game):
- Please rename the executable to "My project" (stupid decision by me before uploading)
- The UI will load a second time when you restart the game. I will hopefully fix this at some point!

The game turned out sweet! I like it. I encounter bugs though: An preset ghost score of 423 scores stay present and overlays with the on following scores. So now many numbers overlay in the top left hand side corner and I can't read the figure anymore. Also if I alt & tab out and in the clock stops ticking visually (still counts logically in game). Furthermore the painting isn't visible in some sessions. Can you tell me the meaning of the permanently shown word "1up"? Shouldn't it be "score" or something?
Thanks bud. I replied to your post on Reddit but am posting here too. The issue with the UI is a known bug, basically it's creating a new instance of the UI every time the game starts. The picture I had noticed but don't really know why that's happening, perhaps a z index solution to be had. And 1UP is sometimes used to mean "P1" in some old arcade games, but perhaps P1 would be better.
Not sure about the time, hoping its just the UI issue, but will double check, thanks for bringing it to our attention!
